Enjoy your BBQ, grab a cold beverage and celebrate the unofficial end of Summer.  Labor Day is here!

Should you still have to get around on Monday, be advised of our Labor Day schedule.  HART local bus routes, Flex (Brandon) and HARTplus will operate on a Saturday schedule.  Also, there will be NO Express/South County Flex service on Monday.  Stay safe!

HART's Rapid Transit Investment Plan

We created the 'Why Transit' page to answer the questions that you may have regarding the Rapid Transit Investment Plan. HART's Alternatives Analysis Study

HART is looking at ways to improve transit in Hillsborough County’s busiest areas connecting employment centers, neighborhoods, schools and commercial centers. In the future, as more people and jobs move into the area, there will be an even greater need for a better transit service. 

The “Alternatives Analysis” (AA) is a planning process to determine the transit mode and the alignment that best meets the needs of the community. After studying a range of possible alignment alternatives and modes, this process will help us select the best one, called the “Locally Preferred Alternative” (LPA).

Taking the Bite out of the Dog Days of Summer

As the Dog Days of Summer are upon us, HART is celebrating record-breaking ridership by thanking our valued customers. 

 HART's series of ridership promotions aimed at taking the bite out of the dog days of summer continues September 11 & 13th with free tours on Route 30, in which attendees will also receive complimentary fare cards and special offers!

HART named APTA 2010 Outstanding Mid-sized Public Transportation System of the Year!

Tampa, FL – You knew it, we knew it, now everyone knows it – we're the best! 

HART has been designated the most Outstanding Public Transit System of the Year for all agencies in North America carrying between 4 - 20 million passenger trips by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).  The designation highlights HART's transformation since the arrival of C.E.O. David Armijo.
