Adam E. Nebrich brings leadership experience, technical expertise, and community dedication to his business and community roles.
A U.S. Coast Guard Academy graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Adam began his career serving two years at sea as a junior officer before transitioning into aviation. He worked as a C-130 search and rescue pilot, helping to lead fixed-wing aviation operations, and later continued his aviation career as an airline captain for a major U.S. airline.
Following his aviation career, Adam became one of the founding members of JEKA Software, Inc., a Tampa Bay-based technology startup. As CEO, he leads the company as it develops and supports its core product Seren, an innovative platform to create and deploy artificial intelligence agents. JEKA Software also provides businesses with technical consulting, professional services, and software licenses nationwide.
Adam is also deeply engaged in community service. He has served as a Board Member for the Florida Response Team (dba Help Now Project), a non-profit organization dedicated to equipping communities with essential emergency response training and recovery response. Through workshops, seminars, and partnerships with other organizations and local governments, the Help Now Project helps empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to handle crises, fostering safer families and neighborhoods. Adam also serves as chair for the Cheval West Community Development District and as Treasurer for the Cheval West Community Association.
A resident of Lutz, Florida, Adam lives with his family and their beloved rescue dog, Daisy. With a diverse background in leadership, engineering, aviation, and technology, Adam is excited to bring his expertise to the HART Board, working collaboratively to improve regional transit infrastructure, expand mobility options, and support Hillsborough County's long-term transportation goals.
